Now in its 16th year, the Festival continues to go from strength to strength and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever.

The focus of the Festival will always be on having fun, enjoying Hillsborough’s fantastic community spirit and raising money for our chosen charity, Action Cancer. This year alone we hope to raise £50,000 for this worthy cause.

We have a wide range of events taking place throughout the Festival week. Some are old Oyster Festival favourites and some are new – but all culminating with the main event, the crowning of the World Oyster-Eating Champion!
